1. What is the point of this site?
This site was created because Apple will be removing the optical drive from the MacBook Pro line in the next 2-3 years. Hopefully we shall see the 13" MacBook Pro without an optical drive within one year. The poll here is collecting data about how often MacBook Pro users use the built in optical drives. This can determine wether the optical drives will be staying or not.
2. How can I view the poll results without voting again?
Simply click the "view results" link next to the vote button on the poll. The poll is located on the homepage.
3. How can I help this site give more accurate data?
Send it in emails to your friends, put it in your signature on related forums and share it on social networks. As more people vote, the data will become more and more accurate.

Yes. Simply click the red X button in the corner of the ad to hide it.

Perhaps. We'll just have to wait and see.
